Start your Saturday at the Johnson Field House Parking lot at 11:00 A.M. to tailgate with fans, open for every UW-Stout home football game. Greeted by the University’s Women’s Basketball Team, you will find people grilling, playing catch, and enjoying music. It is $10.00 to park and enjoy the day. At noon, the gates open and you are greeted again by the University’s Women’s Basketball Team where you can purchase tickets and enter the Don and Nona Williams Stadium. It is only $8.00 for the public and free to UW-Stout students to enjoy a whole afternoon of football. The stadium holds 4,500 people, so there is plenty of room for everyone! At this time, fans can grab a pretzel and cheese from the concession stand and hit up the Blue Crew mobile store for the latest University of Wisconsin-Stout gear. At 1:00 P.M., kickoff starts so head to the stands as head coach Clayt Birmingham and the Stout Football team kicks off for the first time that afternoon. Enjoy a student section filled with some of the 9,300 UW-Stout students and a competitive cheerleading squad as they root for the home team. On many occasions, you will catch a glimpse of the school’s chancellor, Bob Meyers, and might even get to hear the game announced by the athletic director, Duey Naatz. During game breaks, you will find fun competitions, a t-shirt gun, trivia, and the award-winning Stout dance team to keep you entertained. This is all ran by the events coordinator Brett Schreiner and other athletes on campus. After a great home game win, listen to the team sing the school song and join them on the team for pictures and autographs on the field.
